Prefab Wall Panel Order Checklist

Send everything on this list and we can quote your walls without a second round of questions.

Project and contact

  • Your name, company, email and phone
  • Your role: builder, developer, general contractor, or homeowner ordering through a builder
  • Site address and municipality
  • Needed-by date, and whether the date is firm or a target

Drawings

  • Permit or stamped drawings as a PDF, every floor
  • Wall sections and details that show the assembly
  • Structural drawings or engineer letters that affect the walls, if any
  • The revision or date of the set you are sending, so we quote the right one

Wall data

  • Exterior and interior wall lengths by floor, or a note to take them from the plans
  • Wall heights by floor, including any raised or vaulted sections
  • Which walls you want panelized and which you will frame on site
  • Any walls with special loads, shear requirements or hold-downs

Panel specification

  • Stud size and spacing, for example 2x6 at 16 inches on centre
  • Plate configuration
  • Sheathing type and thickness
  • Whether insulation, air barrier or other layers are in or out of scope

Openings

  • Window and door schedule, or a note to take it from the plans
  • Rough opening sizes if they differ from the schedule
  • Header sizes and any special lintel or structural details

Logistics

  • Foundation or slab status and the date it will be ready
  • Whether you will collect the panels or want delivery arranged
  • Site access and any crane or lifting plan
  • Whether you want installation scoped into the quote
